Heroes of Mana – Finger Equipment

Posted on February 6th, 2011 by Kassidy Kearey

After not touching the Heroes of Mana section for a while (sorry), I’ve finally gotten round to typing up all the Finger Equipment (rings, nails, etc etc) that you can get in the game, descriptions and effects. And I will be working on the section further as time permits.

MMM – Rut of the Crystal

Posted on February 1st, 2011 by Dr. Sheexy

Today’s track comes from Children of Mana. Enjoy!

Speaking of crystal ruts, I imagine that’s what Kassidy was in while working on finishing up the Children of Mana Gems Section! That’s a lot of gems and fusions to list out! Go check it out and see what Gems you can fuse and where you can find those last few that might be evading you, just click on the colored gems and get to it!

A word of warning though, some of the gems require anywhere from 5 to 20 to even 99 multiplayer games to be played… so they might be pretty tough to get.

MMM – Decision Bell

To keep with Kassidy’s latest news post regarding Seiken Densetsu 3 I’ve decided to feature a track from that game today.

Decision Bell – Hiroki Kikuta – Seiken Densetsu 3

Enjoy! I’ve always really liked this one, especially when it gets to around 1:05. It’s a really great tune.

Seiken Densetsu 3 Sample Cartridge

Posted on January 23rd, 2011 by Kassidy Kearey

KassCourtesy of our affiliate, Square Palace, we bring you information regarding the pre-release press sample cartridge for Seiken Densetsu 3. While locked down rather tightly, it does offer a little insight in to a couple of bits that didn’t make it into the final game, and makes for some interesting research. Not sure I’d personally go out of my way to invest $200 in sourcing a cartridge of this nature though.
You can read the article here.

MMM – Eternal Parting

Posted on January 17th, 2011 by Dr. Sheexy

I wanted to pick a track that had more than one part to it, so I ended up going with this one.

Eternal Parting – Kenji Ito – Dawn of Mana
[MEDIA=262]

Got a bit of a sad bit at the beginning, then it goes into a really pretty version of Rising Sun, which usually I don’t like to hear because it’s overplayed like crazy. But I really like this version of it.

MMM – Hot Sands

Posted on January 10th, 2011 by Dr. Sheexy

Well, I’m back from snowboarding and I only fell like 200 times before I got the hang of it. Here are two desert themed songs from Heroes of Mana to help me get my mind off the cold.

Affiliation – Square Palace

Posted on January 10th, 2011 by Kassidy Kearey

KassHere at Seikens we are happy to announce that we have just partnered with a new Affiliate, Square Palace. For a long time they have been providing excellent coverage on classic Square and Enix games in the French language, including Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Chrono Trigger, Illusion of Gaia, and many more.

They have also done some cool research into stuff hidden within the games using Action Replay codes, and we’ll be bringing you some details of their latest study project soon.

So please join me in welcoming them on board. I hope that both sites will profit from this and we can all keep our support for these games which we love running strong.

I know I’ve used this one before a couple times, but it’s cold out! And it’s only going to get colder, because this week I’m going snowboarding with some friends.

Happy New Year everyone, hope yours is starting off nice!

Mana Music Holiday

Posted on December 25th, 2010 by Dr. Sheexy

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, Happy Holidays and etc. from Seikens! We kinda dropped the ball this holiday season, sorry about that!
No Mana Music Monday next week, but check out this tune by Rozovian, the guy behind the SD3 Songs of Light and Darkness remix album.

Aurora Australis – Rozovian – Secret of Mana – Eight Ringing Bells
[MEDIA=258]

This has always been one of my favorite tracks from Secret of Mana, and Rozovian’s remix is just awesome. Give this one a listen or three, it’s seriously awesome! If I knew anything about music I’d explain why it’s awesome, but this is beyond my level of explaining.

While you’re in a musical mood be sure to check out Dyne’s “An Overclocked Christmas” where you can find this track and many others for your listening pleasure.

To you and yours, have a great time!
