Thanks to Ailise again for the info! If it’s not in the appstore now, it should be by the end of the night! You can find it on the iTunes store here for $8.99 USD. The SoM soundtrack can also be found on iTunes and is 25% off until January 5th!
And instead of doing a music update I’m gonna post all the Secret of Mana commercials again because they’re lots of fun!

Mana Music Monday is coming a day early because I found a guy on Youtube who has videos of the Symphonic Fantasies concert that happened yesterday. If you missed it, here’s your chance to enjoy it! I was really impressed by it, it turned out awesome. If you’re interested in the other segments click here.
Well I never got the Children of Mana Commercials up last week, so I’m going to put them all up now along with the Mana Music Monday for this week. I’m gonna be really busy this week and won’t have time to mess with these later.

The music for this week is the Children of Mana track The Ruined Ground by Takayuki Aihara. I think it’s a really good ruined Temple of Mana arrangement. I could maybe listen to it forever, it’s so serene and mysterious.

Comments Off on MMM and Commercials – Children of Mana
Two more Secret of Mana commercials for today.
Got a comment in the last batch asking why we don’t post any English commercials, and sadly the answer is that there aren’t any. The commercials for the games barely make it out of Japan. The second video for today is from Germany, and it’s probably the neatest Seiken Densetsu commercial there is, despite the fact it gets the beginning entirely wrong.

Next week we’ll have some Children of Mana commercials, and then I’ll get the respective sections up in each of the game’s pages to keep these commercials where people can find them.
Kassidy went through the trouble of scrounging up Seiken Densetsu commercials from around these here internets and uploaded them all into the news system, so every few days or so we’re going to feature a new commercial or two.
After all the commercials are shown off here in the news they’ll be relocated into the sections of the game they belong to.
So for our first commercial update: Seiken Densetsu 3 – Japan

Riesz apparently had Duran cast Lightning Saber on her.
Also, Carlie is hilariously short.
Another talented chap over on YouTube, CalebElijah, recorded this electric guitar rendition the theme from Secret of Mana’s Upperland forest. While it’s not my favourite song from the game, he’s done a really good job of performing it. Check out his other videogame renditions over on YouTube.
I decided to do something a little different for today’s Mana Music Monday update.
Here for your enjoyment is the staff roll for Dawn of Mana. Don’t worry if you haven’t played the game yet, there aren’t any spoilers in the video just awesome visuals and music.
The two tracks featured here are “The Endless Dream” and “A Legend Forever” by Kenji Ito. These are two of my favorite tracks from the series. “A Legend Forever” dates back to the good old days of Final Fantasy Adventure. “The Endless Dream” stems from “Tale of the Distant Sun” from Children of Mana. It reminds me of a mix between “Rising Sun” and “A Legend Forever” and the vocals harken back to the arranged version of “Mission of Mana” from the Seiken Densetsu – Let Thoughts Ride on Knowledge album.
Anyways, just sit back and enjoy the fun visuals while following the elementals around.
Yarn and felt never looked so awesome.

If you missed all the names you can check them out on the Dawn of Mana Staff Roll page that Kassidy made a while back.
Today’s Mana Music Monday is going to be somewhat different. Instead of presenting one of the classic track in audio format only, I’m going to introduce you to a guy who goes by the name of Kurikinton Fox, and plays electric guitar versions of several themes from Square-Enix’s games. Well his latest venture just so happens to be from Secret of Mana, and is one of my favourite tracks, Danger/Crisis. Yes, that’s right, the Boss Theme. Enjoy!
