Brownie Brown is a game development studio funded by Nintendo which opened up in 2000. Among the people working at Brownie Brown there are many of the artists from Legend of Mana, and the studio was founded by two people who worked on the various Seiken Densetsu games on Gameboy and Super Nintendo.

This week at Seikens we’re celebrating how I keep doing updates ahead of time by offering to you this music from Legend of Mana:
That is right, time is being silent because I flippin’ beat it down. I made it my minion. I own time!
So anyways, this song is the last boss music in Legend of Mana. This plays while you’re taking on the Mana Goddess up in the Mana Tree. It is a pretty cool battle, as the music would suggest, so I’m not going to spoil any more for you. If you haven’t played Legend of Mana all of the way through you totally should.
Ok guys, I’m not sure if I’ll have access to super fast internet this weekend, so I’m getting this Bestiary update out here early.
Six more actually! I’m going to start something new with the updates; boss info pages will only count as half a page when I do them because they are usually short. So in this case I added four boss pages which equals out to two normal pages. So basically I did four pages, but six sounds cooler.
Anyways, check out the new pages!
I’ll get around to fixing the SwoM and CoM parts next update.
Thanks to tomnet who provided us a lot collection of photos of his collection of Seiken Densetsu merchendise.
He literally got everything that is Seiken Densetsu: all games from all regions and editions, all soundtracks and everything else. He even got the rabite plush doll.

Yoko Shimomura is the composer of the wonderful music in Legend of Mana.
Unlike Hiroki Kikuta and Koichi Ishii, Yoko Shimomura is a bit easier to find info on! But for some reason her “Who Is” update is shorter than their stuff… I guess mystery makes for awesome writing. Read the rest of this entry »
I have added enemy sprites for the LoM monsters into the Bestiary entries. They are not the best quality, but I think they look pretty good.
Looking at the Bestiary I realize that the Sword of Mana entries are very useless in it. I am considering removing the SwoM section from the Bestiary, as well as never creating a section for CoM in it. My reasons for doing this are as follows:

Well, it is early for Music Monday, at least in my timezone. It still one hour and 10 minutes left to Monday. But I let it go.
This week’s music candy is a remix. It’s a remix from one of the tracks in Secret of Mana, and the track is Pure Night also known as Still of the Night. You don’t know where this is played? It is the frickin’ Pure Land!! The island where the Mana Tree is!!
The remix is from an album called Project Majestic Mix: The Trance Album. It’s a trance album with remixes from various games. More information of this album can be found in their site.

Ok people, we’ve got Howlers, Ninjas, Shadow Zeroes and Slimes in the Bestiary! The Slime section has the most enemies so far, there are too many of those little creeps!

Also, I’d like to draw attention to the super revamped Secret of Mana Armor and Weapon pages. I worked my tail off fixing those today, and I’m dang proud of them. Show the SoM some love people, it seriously needed it.
Me and Sheexy have found that our information is incorrect. We weren’t aware of this incorrecteness as the section wasn’t made by either of us.
In next days or weeks we are going to rewrite most of the information.
Why haven’t anyone told us about this? Six years online and no one has said anything. Strange
