Shopping Channel – Black Friday

Posted on November 27th, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

– Well if you’re in the States like me, you probably know what today is. Today is the day when people go nuts and cram themselves into shopping centers trying to get amazing deals.

– Scary shoppers.

– That they are my little friend. In fact, Neko and Mr. Moti are out shopping right now. Instead of risking your lives like those two are, why don’t you stick around the site here and get your Black Friday shopping done in safety, we’ve got some pretty neat things here today.

Heroes musics, Legend musics, Heroes music!

– Someof the best deals we have today are for Secret of Mana, check these out, 99 cents each! Get the Nintendo Power Cover Issue, or a nice Nintendo Power Poster, or pick up the Japanese Advanced Guidebook. The guidebook doesn’t really have any pictures in it like the Basic one does, check out the merchandise section for more information.

SD3 art and cards!

– Speaking of art, this is a great deal on the Legend of Mana Manga by Shiro Amano. They’re really fun, even if you can’t understand the Japanese.

– All done now.

– Yeah… I thought we had more deals but I guess not. Oh, Neko, what are you doing back?

– My protest wasn’t going so well.

– A protest? What, I thought you were out shopping?

– No, I was protesting Black Friday. There were far too many good deals, shoppers should keep high prices like me.

– Y’know I’m not sure why I hired you for this.

MMM – This Journey

Posted on November 23rd, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

Later I’ve gotta walk to school, it’s a pretty long walk but it’s really nice now that the weather has cooled down considerably here. And nothing goes better with a good long walk than a good piece of music. But not just any music, there are some music tracks that just seem more fit to walking. The Seiken Densetsu games have a good amount of these kinds of tracks I think, and this is an example of one:

Ok so it’s a remix of one, but it still works.

– Ok, this update is coming through on dial-up, so if we give up halfway and just leave don’t be surprised.

– I’m leaving right now.

– Ok Mr. Moti, it’s just you and me. Moti? Hey where’s he at?

– Just us.

– Alright Lil’ Cactus. Let’s get this over with. I’d like to start by showing This Auction for an English copy of Seiken Densetsu 3. Remember everyone

Seiken Densetsu 3 was NEVER released in English!

Don’t fall for this scam!

-Sneaky scammers.

– That they are. Ok, well here are three guides for pretty cheap. They are all pretty good, especially this Dawn of Mana Map Guide, it’s got some decent artwork in it if you can’t afford to get the CoM and DoM Artbook. Then there is this Seiken Densetsu 3 Adventure Guidebook which is ok. Not as good as the Basic Guidebook though. And of course there is the classic Legend of Mana Ultimania Guide.

Fun comics buy them.

– Yeah, those comics are pretty cool. I guess that’s it though, eBay is almost as slow as my internet connection.

– Bits and bytes.

– Yeah, so, I’m gonna go. Bye Lil’ Cactus.

– I’m still a cactus.

Ok, got another track from Dawn of Mana this week, but instead of being a nice calm one like last time I decided to pick one of the boss tracks.

Merchandise Update

Posted on November 13th, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

My updating streak isn’t completely dead, it’s just on life support at the moment.

I went ahead and added two new sections to the Merchandise Section.
Now you can see all the Dawn of Mana and general World of Mana merchandise that is out there for you to collect.

All that is left is for me to add in Sword of Mana and Legend of Mana, which is going to be a lot of fun because those two games have the most merchandise associated with them. Especially LoM, that update is gonna take a good month by itself to complete.

-Ok Mr. Moti, since you didn’t get much time last week I’m gonna let you start this week off with all that music stuff you found.

– Awesome! Heroes of Mana has one of the best soundtracks out of all of the Mana games in my opinion-

-I’d have to agree with that.

– So why don’t you pick up a copy of the soundtrack for yourself? You can buy it for very cheap and free shipping from this auction! The soundtrack comes with two disks packed with amazing tracks! Another great deal is this Dawn of Mana Soundtrack, which at this price is quite a steal! It comes with 4 CDs full of music!

– Everybody likes Secret of Mana, pick up either of these two (One, Two) complete copies! Or just get this Box, Map and Manual if that is all you need. There is also the Secret of Mana Nintendo Power for pretty cheap, don’t forget you can view it and the others in our Gallery!

– Speaking of Secret of Mana, how about getting The Soundtrack for really cheap? Or how about foregoing the soundtrack and just getting The Guitar Tabs so you can play the music yourself?

– If you move fast you can pick up this Seiken Densetsu Sheet Music Book for 30% off its normally expensive price. And of course there is the amazing Children and Dawn of Mana Artbook.

– Ok guys, good job! That’s it for this week!

– But I only talked once this time.

– Yeah, but you’re a cat. You shouldn’t be talking anyways.

– Almost a year.

– Yeah, and look at Lil’ Cactus there, he hasn’t gotten to talk here in almost a year now. He’s not complaining.

-Yes I am.

– Not important! This week’s update is over, we’ll see you next week!

Mana Music Monday

Posted on November 9th, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

Ahh school is getting incredibly hectic around here, so I don’t have much to say in this update. One of my classes has gotten to the point where instead of coming to class the teacher is letting us skip it so we have time to work on the multiple projects we have due soon.
I’ve picked a nice soft and calm track, I think everyone can appreciate music like that.

So sit back and relax a bit to this one:

Unfortunately I spent all my relaxation time working on this update because my internet connection is so bad right now, but hey, what can you do?

– It’s that time of the week again, everybody! Let’s get started with some good Final Fantasy Adventure deals! Lots of people don’t have the map and manual that came with the game, so if you’re looking for one you should buy this map and manual set. Please note that that auction comes with the newer manual. If you want the older one you should buy this manual. The auction says it is missing the front cover, but the picture shows the front cover intact, so I’m not quite sure whether it has it or not.

– This Final Fantasy Adventure Basic Guidebook is kind of expensive, but you can make a lower offer and see if the seller will take you up on it. If you want the Japanese game, box and manual then look no further. It’s a bit expensive, but that is because it is rare. This is actually a pretty good price for it.

– Do you know what is not a good price? The price on this Sword of Mana Japanese Box Set. It comes with a Lil’ Cactus desk toy, and a Rabite finger puppet along with the game, but that price is much too high. I paid 30 dollars for mine, you shouldn’t have to pay much more than that.

– Did you know there was a special Gameboy Advance SP made in Japan for the release of Sword of Mana? If you want it you can buy this one! It comes with the Gameboy, the game, and a few other things. It also looks like the carrying case has a Rabite tag on it, that’s pretty neat!

– Buying Secret of Mana complete can be expensive, especially if everything is in good condition. But these two copies (One, Two) have the “make an offer” option, so you could maybe get them for cheaper.

– And to wrap it all up, you can pick up All Five Shiro Amano Legend of Mana Manga for a nice price here. Or if you want you can get both of (One, Two) for around the same price. See you all next week!

– B-but I barely got to talk!

Mana Music Monday

Posted on November 2nd, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

It is really tempting to just upload Harvest November from Seiken Densetsu 3 and call it a day, but I’m pretty sure that happens every November so I thought I’d mix it up a bit and choose something else.

Moonlit City Roa – Yoko Shimomura
[MEDIA=198]

In LoM the city known as Lumina in the English versions is called Roa in the Japanese version.

As far as updates go, probably pretty slow this week, unfortunately I’ve got some projects I’ve gotta take care of.
But I’ve got a lot of stuff in the works for updates, so I’ll get something up eventually!
