Well, there is really nothing new on eBay now, but check the older shopping channel posts and you can still find some good deals.
This update might seem kinda useless, but it’s actually helping me keep my New Year’s resolution of never missing one of these things. So, yeah.

– Hey, there are actually some good deals this time around! Hooray!
– Look, a super cheap Secret of Mana Soundtrack! You can buy that and listen to and dance to it, OR you could buy this really cheap Seiken Densetsu Best Piano Collection Book and learn to play lots of the songs from all the games!
– The Ultimania Guide for Legend of Mana is usually very expensive, but This One is so cheap it pains me deep in my soul.
– Everyone loves Secret of Mana, right? So buy this Nintendo Power Poster! Or get this Manual and Map/Poster! Both these things are super cheap now!
– The Legend of Mana Soundtrack is a classic, everyone should own one! This Dawn of Mana Soundtrack might not be a classic, but it’s still so awesome you should definitely buy it.
– If you can’t decide between the Secret of Mana and the Legend of Mana soundtracks, you could just get both. But it’s a bit more expensive than just winning the other two auctions… but I’m Neko, so what do you expect?

Special thanks to Prime Blue for bringing this update to my attention.
Saturday September, 12th at 8:00 PM CEST there is going to be a game music concert called Symphonic Fantasies, and it’s got a whole section of its program devoted to Secret of Mana!
If it wasn’t cool enough that it’s going to have Secret of Mana music, the concert will also have a live video stream!
According to the program information that Prime Blue posted, the Secret of Mana tracks you can look forward to are:
Fear of the Heavens
Into the Thick of it
The Oracle
Prophecy
as well as some which have not been announced yet.
For more information on other tracks you can see Prime Blue’s post on NeoGaf. The whole program will also include stuff from Kingdom Hearts, Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy music. You can also find the links that you’ll need to follow if you want to stream the concert, I haven’t posted those yet but I’ll make another announcement when the concert gets closer.
If you’re not sure how long it is until the concert, just check this Online Countdown that Prime Blue mentions in his post.

Hey everybody, happy Labor day if you’re here in the states, and happy Labour day if you’re up in Canada.
The difference is subtle but important I imagine.
Today I have this music for you:
Menace – Kenji Ito
It’s from the “Let Thoughts Ride on Knowledge” album that was arranged by Takayuki Hattori way back in 1991, and I think it’s one of the best things to ever happen to Seiken Densetsu music. This track reminds me a lot of Disney’s Fantasia at the beginning, and then it builds up into a pretty nice Latin sounding boss theme. It’s pretty awesome.

You know, honestly I expected things on eBay to pick up by now, but there really isn’t anything worth mentioning. I might put the Shopping Updates on pause until stuff starts showing up, even though that’d break my New Year’s Resolution, but I don’t like dancing around the fact that there is nothing to mention there.
As far as site updates go, I’ve got a lot of material to work with. I’ve gotta continue the Bestiary updates, I’ve got 950 Megs of scanned material I’ve gotta clean up and add to the site. We’re going to have the Nintendo Power scans soon, as well as lots of artwork from both Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy Adventure. So stick around for updates and such! I’ve just gotta get nicely settled into the school year before I sink any time into non-schoolwork stuff.

We’ve got something a little different for you today.
Vivid – Hiroki Kikuta
This is the first track from Kikuta’s most recent album, Alphabet Planet which was released in 2007. I haven’t actually listened to the album, but Kassidy has given all the tracks a short summary here in our soundtrack section.
Enjoy!

You might remember a post I made a few months ago about a secret remix project involving a whole bunch of remixers from OCRemix and other places, well I’ve recently heard from Rozovian, one of the guys running the project, that it’s coming along pretty good.
He’s also told me that he’s looking for some help from fans of Seiken Densetsu 3. He’s got plans for at least two of the tracks on the album to have lyrics to them, and he needs your help to figure out the words.

The first track with lyrics is a duet between Angela and Riesz about their families, how Angela is trying to escape hers whereas Riesz is trying to get hers back. The tracks involved are going to be the tunes connected to the locations the character’s stories start out including Another Winter, Witchmakers, Female Turbulence, Different Road, etc. What he wants your help with is recounting the story from these character’s point of view.
The second lyrical track is going to be a rap, this one doesn’t have much of an idea set in stone yet. He’s said it can be about anything ranging from the entire Seiken Densetsu 3 world, to one character’s view, to a few characters, to something really out there. The track(s) used for this aren’t set in stone either, so they’ll probably end up using whatever the lyrics fit.
Also, if you’ve got any more ideas for songs that could be on the album or want to contribute music of your own to the album, just let him know. You can find contact information for Rozovian here at OCRemix.
Long story short: Seiken Densetsu Remix Project is looking for your help!
Contact Rozovian here if you’d like to help out!
You can also post ideas in this thread I made on the forum.

– Sheexy’s a bit under the weather so there’s no Shopping Channel update for today. A lot of good deals are still around on eBay, so if you’re looking for something check out the older Shopping Channel updates to see if any of those items are still for sale.
