What, you came back today looking for music? Wasn’t impurfekt’s Secret of Mana remix project “rebirth” enough for you? You’re either greedy or you haven’t downloaded his music yet if you came here for music today.

In any case, you can have another track today too.
Enjoy Ring of Revolving Fate by Yoko Shimomura for Heroes of Mana.

– Y’know, I lost track of counting these updates a long time ago. I should probably go through the archives and catch up on that… Anyways, summer is almost over and it seems like things are starting to pick up over on eBay again.

– Yeah, just look at this copy of Legend of Mana, it even comes with the English guidebook!

– This Dawn of Mana guidebook may be in Japanese, but it’s really cheap now and even if you can’t read it you can still make use of the maps that point out secrets and other things.

– There are also lots of nice posters for sale, you can get a Heroes of Mana poster, a Children of Mana poster, and a Secret of Mana poster!

– Then after you buy all those posters and hang them up in your room you can listen to the Seiken Densetsu 3 Soundtrack and dance around like I do! You’ll be the coolest person where you live if you do that.

– That’s why I’m so cool.

Missing Mana Music Monday

Posted on August 19th, 2009 by Kassidy Kearey

KassIt’s summer, people should be out in the sun and having fun… apparently.

Either that or other insanely busy schedules have meant that we’ve been having some difficulty in keeping up with updates, in particular Mana Music Monday. As it was Missing, this weeks (late) track is Missing Truth, by Yoko Shimomura, from the Legend of Mana soundtrack. Enjoy!

And don’t forget your sun block!

– Well, if you couldn’t tell by the lack of updates on the main page, the Summer tends to kill things around here. And likewise, besides the Legend of Mana Postcard Book and this nicely priced Children and Dawn of Mana Artbook from last time there is absolutely nothing worth mentioning on eBay. Summer is almost over, so it won’t be much longer until the site starts getting decent updates again, after all working on this site is a great way to procrastinate on the schoolwork I get.

– It’s 99 cent day! Nothing but stuff that’s at 99 cents at the moment of writing this post!

– NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! IT BURNS!!! IT BURNS!!!

– Don’t worry Neko, I’m not counting Shipping.

– Phew, that’s the easiest place to gouge, I’m cured!

– Neko how are you still in business?

– Heroes are surprisingly lazy, It’s a wonder they manage to save the world in the end.

– Say, are you a hero trying to save the world in Legend of Mana? Probably not considering the storyline, but if you are having trouble with helping random people then maybe you should get the Legend of Mana Ultimania Guide! … and also learn Japanese!

– There is also a nice Postcard Book that is starting out cheaper than the one we mentioned last time. Or you can buy The Game Itself, or even get The Game and the Bonus Soundtrack. It’s only got five songs, but hey it’s collectable.

– How about buying this Secret of Mana Guitar Book and using it to play beautiful music for me to dance to?

– Hey that’s not 99 cents!

– But your “best offer” can be!

– That… probably won’t work, definitely won’t work. But nice loophole! Check out all these posters that started at 99 cents! Get a Children of Mana Poster, a Secret of Mana Poster, and… um another Secret of Mana Poster?

– How about playing a nice game of Children of Mana?

– Hey that one is one dollar! You should have said this copy of Children of Mana which is actually only 99 cents! What’s with all the high prices today Mr. Moti? You’re worse than Neko!

– Yeah you’re worse than me. Even I resisted mentioning this Children and Dawn of Mana Artbook that is only 36 dollars instead of the usual 48!

– Yeah, Neko didn’t even bring up that Children and Dawn of Mana Artbook which is probably the best deal on it you will ever find online and you should jump on this chance if you want the book!

– u guys are cheating, I’m going home!

– Well I’m going home too!

– You are home.

– I’m going to bed!

Nobuteru Yuki’s Seiken Densetsu 3 Illustration Book

Posted on August 4th, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

Well, I finally managed to get my hands on one of the rarest pieces of Seiken Densetsu Merchandise there is.
This super rare book was printed in 1998 and contains 96 pages of completed illustrations from Seiken Densetsu 3’s character artist Nobuteru Yuki, as well as many rough sketches some of which never made it any further. A few pages at the end contain short comics by a few guest artists as well as Nobuteru Yuki as well.

This is the book cover with its jacket on. The jacket has words on it and is see through like frosted glass.

Continue reading to see a few more pictures from the book, as well as some more information on it.

Triple M – Parting

Posted on August 4th, 2009 by Kassidy Kearey

My bio-clock has been all over the place, so I missed yesterday’s update, and on top of that, last week I was remiss to post a track, so this week we’re doing a 3-in-1. Parting from Let the Thoughts Ride on Knowledge brings together 3 tracks from the original Seiken Densetsu soundtrack by Kenji It, the second of which, Battle 2, was what got me into FFA in the first place.

– Hey, what do you know, a few neat auctions showed up finally! Just check out this Children and Dawn of Mana Artbook that you could possibly get for cheaper than you can usually find them!

– I found a nice Seiken Densetsu 3 Prologue book. It’s got nice SD3 art as well as a sticker sheet and the Seiken Densetsu 3 cards!

– Here are two nice guides I highly reccomend! First is the Secret of Mana Basic Guidebook and secondly is the Seiken Densetsu 3 Basic Guidebook. Both have some nice illustrations of various items, weapons and armors from the games, and these guides are also on sale right now! If that’s not good enough, you can just make an offer to the seller and get them for cheaper!

– This update is all about art it seems, if you love Legend of Mana then pick up this Legend of Mana Postcard Book, it’s got a bunch of postcards with the official LoM art! You can send them to your friends, or just hoard them for your collection like I do.

– That’s it for this week, enjoy your summer and always remember, I’m still a cat.

It’s Summertime

Posted on July 23rd, 2009 by Dr. Sheexy

– Well, it’s the Summer and stuff is going really slow. Bestiary updates are still in the works, but I’m not sure when I’ll get around to adding them to the site, and I’m also working on some other things here and there. As far as shopping goes there is pretty much nothing new, so just check out older Shopping Channel updates for good deals that haven’t been taken advantage of yet.
