POLLS!!! That is what is new for Seikens. A really long time ago we used to have polls in the page. But it wen’t gone for unknown reason. Now it is back! From time to time we are going to have new surveys. Everything is going to be related to our beloved series by Square Enix.

Our first survey is going to ask you what’s your favourite elemental spirit in the series. You can find the poll in the sidebar, below the menu and above the shoutbox.

After a little missunderstanding we got ourselves a new affilates. It’s Square Enix Music Online, who aims on the information of music by the game house. There you can find pretty much anything about the music in the Square Enix games. You really should visit them.

Do you also happen to maintain a site? Do you wish to request an affiliation with the wonderful Seikens? If you really do, then go to the affilation page which you can find under Affiliates menu. If you got all what it takes to be an affiliate, you should send a request.

The Dawn of Mana section for Seikens has now opened for business! For now you will find there the game overview and a brilliant review and write-up contributed by our forum’s very own Duran.

We are hoping to expand this section with new material very soon. If you have any contributions that you would like to make to this new area of Seikens, please contact either Deques, Sheexy (once he’s back from Japan) or myself via the Contact Page or through the forum.

Did you know we have a new gallery? These past two or three days we have been working on a new gallery. This includes making the layout to have the same layout as the Seikens and also added new images. The new gallery we are using is called zenphoto, which is very nice and simple layout. It has all basic features that we need. The last one had too many stuff that we didn’t need. New in this gallery is that you, visitors, can leave a comment.

Currently we have 795 images in 12 categories!!!

I worked this morning with a little of everything. The design has been changed slightly. You won’t notice it at first sight. Look in the menu to see the changes if you want.

I have also added an introduction text above the news. This is good for new visitors to let them know who we are and what this site is about. It might look a little weird in the beginning, but here is what you can do. Click on the news name, and leave a comment. You can either talk crap about it or give constructive critism. From today on it has been 365 days since the Seiken Board have been using punBB as forum system. That means the Board is having it’s first anniverary of using punBB. To celebrate this day, I am going to tell you a story about the Board.

Had to work some magic for this update, since I have barely any music with me that can be used for Triple M, but I have managed to conjure up the goods.

This is a remix that will shortly be part of our Remix section, and we have been kindly granted permission to host by Ryan8bit and norg, called Breath of Dissonance. The song presents a mix of rock and live electric solo guitar with electronic fills here and there with the occasional acoustic and piano rendition, and covers several tracks from Final Fantasy Adventure. Also I should mention this song achieved the position of second most voted remix in the Mana Month of Dwelling of Duels.

Again, this will be available for download from the remix section as soon as I write-up a decent review for it. And once more, many thanks to the authors of the track.

With Sheexy gone for his preperation for his trip to Japan and Kassidy soon gone in Spain, was it Spain, it is only me who will do the updates. So unlucky me, I don’t have much time either to update this site. There are still a lot of things for me to do, but so little time.

Square’s Battle Tracks Vol.1 has now been released, as was previously announced to happen here. Just to remind you, the CD contains three Seiken Densetsu related tracks (FFA’s “Battle 1”, SoM’s “Danger” and SD3’s “Nuclear Fusion”), though we can now confirm that, sadly, the tracks are not remixed or rearranged at all, so nothing new and exciting (to the point that Danger, or Crisis as they have named it, only loops the once, same as the SoM OST).

Only the track “Last Battle” from Romancing SaGa 2 is remixed.

A new article has been added to the Seiken Densetsu 3 section of our website detailing the wonders of the Debug Room, which will tell you how to access it, what you’ll find there and just how far its features stretch.

Expect more updates after a week or so, as I’m going to be out of the country as of tomorrow (again).
