Captain of the Beast Kingdom recconnaissance unit. Calm and composed to the point of carrying out dangerous maneuvers without any concerns. In charge of explaining the battle system of the game.

A soldier hired by the Peddan Army two years ago. A drunken womanizer who redeems himself by being trustworthy when it comes to getting the job done. Friends with Roget, and familiar with many people in Laurent.

Last survivor of the forest people, she has the ability to talk to and work well with monsters. Though a young, she has become useful when working with the official army members.

Niece of the Peddan State Minister and female member of the Beast Kingdom recconnaissance unit. Because of her easily angered character she’s known as “the land mine wou want to walk around”.

King of the Beast Kingdom of Ferolia, unlike other beastmen he does not hate humans. Father of Kevin (Seiken Densetsu 3).

Experienced soldier of Laurent and acquaintance of Qucas. Father of Riesz (Seiken Densetsu 3).

Laurent’s foremost female soldier. Once involved with Qucas. Secretly in love with Joster, though keeps it a secret due to his involvement with Minerva. Nurse to Riesz and Elliot (Seiken Densetsu 3). Also appears in SD3.

United the tribe of Laurent and became their leader. Through diplomacy brought peace, but dies in the Nevarl invasion at the hands of Olbex.

Daughter of Galura and Joster’s sweetheart, together they dream of building up the tribe Laurent into a country. Mother of Riesz and Elliot (Seiken Densetsu 3).

Priest of Wendel. Does not fight personally, but has a considerable dominance of magic. Adoptive father of Charlotte (Seiken Densetsu 3).

Priest of Darkness in Wendel. Keeps Wendel in a neutral state. Cooperates with Roget. Is the Masked Mage from Seiken Densetsu 3, and is father of Heath from the same game. Parted ways from Wendel due to corruption by the dark magic he
studied.

Former commander of the Nevarl ninjas. Objects to current Nevarl policies, together with Sand Arrow her husband. Mother of Hawkeye (Seiken Densetsu 3).

Deserter of Nevarl. In spite of injury, journeyed to Wendel to inform Falcon and Roget of the problems back in Nevarl.

Falcon’s husband. Not skilled in combat and against the idea of war. Father of Hawkeye (Seiken Densetsu 3).

Son of Sand Arrow and Falcon, he is orphaned and taken in by Flame Kahn between the events of this game and SD3, who is his grandfather. In SD3 he is one of
the six main characters.

Prince of Valsena. Full of chivalry, he likes to fight on the front lines, causing Loki great distress. Father of Angela (Seiken Densetsu 3), although
does not know.

Known as the Golden Knight, Leader of the Silver Horsemen. Father of Duran (Seiken Densetsu 3). Close friend of Richard.

First in line to succeed to the Imperial Throne of Altena. Mother of Angela (Seiken Densetsu 3). Is in love with Richard, but keeps a straight face due to political circumstances.

Present, and first, queen of Altena and mother of Valda. Has magical abilities to the point where she can control the weather, but cannot defeat the mirror of Anith. Also pilots the Demon Road Airship. Dies fighting with Peddan troops in order that Valda and friends can escape.

Ancestral spirit of a member of the Beast Kingdom of Ferolia, has protected the Moon Reading Tower for hundreds of years. Despises humans as being a lower race.

Ourubikusu’s younger brother. Died 5 years ago. Was killed by Qucas during a diplomacy meeting between Laurent and Nevarl for insulting Minerva. After this, Qucas left Laurent.

Leader of Nevarl. Unites forces with Pedda in order to take over Laurent, but loses important allies like Falcon who do not agree with his cause. 5 years ago his younger brother was killed by Qucas.

Has a small army of soldiers within Nevarl and is Ourubikusu’s right hand man. Tries to punish Falcon, his daughter, who rebels from the organization. However, during the fight with her recognises her determination. In Seiken Densetsu 3 appears as leader of Nevarl.

Commander of the Peddan troops. In spite the appearance and manners of a gambler, he’s faithful in his duty. Long-time friends with Yurchael and Bazilios.

Soldier of the Peddan Army and younger brother to Elena. Close friends with Roget, but because of Roget’s betrayel to Pedda ends up hating him and raises his sword to him. Dies at Roget’s hands at the Moon Reading Tower.

Elder sister to Euhanny and female soldier of the Pedan Army. Also Roget’s sweetheart. Fights Roget after being informed by Bazilios of his betrayal. Controls the Zombie Buskaboo. Dies by charging her battleship into the Altena ship.

Peddan female officer from a young age who wears a mask and descends from a long line of female officers that directly serve the General. For a long time has been known to have a strong sense of direction and charisma among soldiers. Once had a strong connection with Yurchael. After the appearance of Anise’s mirror is corrupted by the Darkness and becomes Mother Goddess of Darkness.

King of Pedda, appears to enjoy war too much at his young age, and has little sense of responsability. Was childhood friends with Roget and his brother. Sinks into the Chaos Ocean after the mirror of Anise is released.

Inhabits the Mirage Palace in Pedda, and is Roget’s older twin brother. Can manipulate space with his thoughts and use incantations from ancient Peddan magic. Was bewitched by Anise’s mirror and proposed the plan for its release to Bazilios and Annais. Engulfed by the Chaos Ocean after the mirror of Anise is released.

Spirit of the moon, she has a gentle and lady-like manner. In a constant state of drowsiness.

Fire spirit in the form of a flamming dragon. Temperamental and has a strong sense of justice.

Water spirit that resembles a mermaid. Can manipulate the temperature and flow of water. High-spirited and bossy.

Spirit with a gentle demeanour and protective stance toward nature. Quiet and reserved.

A mischevious spirit that can control the wind, often for his own amusement. Has an upbeat nature.

Elder earth spirit that controls the magnetic forces within earth and stone. A self-styled leader with a short temper.

A healing and blinding spirit of light. Simple of speech, yet wise.

Spirit who governs the darkness. Despite a sinister appearance, is composed and gentlemanly.

Protective spirit that lives high in the mountains of Laurent, near Heaven. A male dragon that talks. Also appears in Seiken Densetsu 3.

God-Beast of fire, takes on the temporary form of a bird engulfed in flames, as he can adopt many forms at will. Lends his power to Roget after the disturbance caused by the mirror, but his purpose with regards to the world is unclear.
