While rummaging through the usual webpages that I check for updates, I stumbled into Square-Enix’s NA website to see if, at last, Heroes of Mana has a site… And lo and behold! It doesn’t. It does have a page stating that the full site launch is coming soon, confirming the date of 14th of August and an ESRB rating of Everyone 10+. More importantly though is the Nintendo Wi-Fi logo, which hopefully means that the Wi-Fi Ranking system will carry over outside of Japan.
While waiting for this though, you can always enjoy the new screens available over at IGN.

Even though not yet released in the States, the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle (German Voluntary Monitoring Organisation of Entertainment Software) has rated Heroes of Mana, meaning it will reach European shores (although a rating from the PEGI is yet to be released). A date, however, is yet to be announced. Stay tuned for further developments.

I’m afraid that I let the ball drop on Mana Music Monday, for which I apologize. However, to make up for it, and in conjunction with Wai’s news this week announcing the launch of Heroes of Mana on 14th of August and his coverage on the launch of Dawn of Mana today, we have not one but two tracks to celebrate the continuing expansion of the World of Mana (let’s take advantage of them while we can, guys!), while remembering those golden years passed sat hacking away at Rabites.

Yes, the western world won’t be avoiding this installment of Seiken Densetsu series. Heroes of Mana got a release for North America. The game will be released on August 14th this year.
Heroes of Mana is prequel to Seiken Densetsu 3 and will take place 19 years before it’s sequel. A few characters from SD3 will be returning to this game.
Be sure to save some money for this game, when it is out.

If you plod on over to Square’s Music page you’ll find the page for the Heroes of Mana OST with 5 samples of the tracks from the CD. If you compare these to the rips I made a while back, you’ll notice that the quality of the tracks from the CD is far superior (note, this isn’t down to the process of ripping them from the DS) to the quality in game, which is a very pleasant surprise indeed, and makes the release later this month even more worth the wait.

March 27th, 2007 | Dr. Sheexy | Filed under Bestiary, Heroes of Mana, Seikens
Hey everyone, first I’d like to say that Heroes of Mana is going to be released State side late this summer! Thanks to Boreras in the Shoutbox for linking me to the article at Kotaku Here, who in turn got their information from IGN Here.
Also, just a small early warning that the Bestiary will not update on Saturday due to, shall we say, technical reasons. Deques and I are going to be cleaning it up a bit.

We have indeed the first screenshot showing English text of Heroes of Mana!

Shame it appears they have butchered the names even more than they already are… However, this is good news, even if there still isn’t a concrete date confirmed yet (still slated for Summer 2007, no more specific than that I’m afraid).

Following on from last week’s Music Monday, we bring you more Heroes of Mana exclusive goodness, in the form of another 5 tracks ripped from the game, plus a few fanfares (well, they don’t really count as tracks, do they?).
