– I don’t wanna sell stuff today, I’m on Spring Break! You can’t sell anything to anybody on Spring Break!
– Of course you can! I’ve sold ice to a Walrus Man in Todo, if I can do that I can sell stuff to people while they’re on Spring Break! Of course, they kicked me out of their village once they figured out they’d been had.
– I always wondered why you weren’t in the shops in Todo Village… what about Matango? What’d you sell to the Mushboom folk that got you kicked out of there?
– Oh, just a giant snake.
– Oh… oh my… you know that snake ended up eating… oh my… well, let’s get to the selling I guess.
I didn’t do the music update yesterday because it’s spring break for me, and I was back in my hometown doing nothing but play videogames with friends, because that is what spring break is all about. Probably.
Since it’s Saint Patrick’s Day I decided the music I’d upload is from Geo, because that is where you do the quest called “Lucky Clover” to reunite Esmerelda the Emerald with the Jumi cores of her three sisters.

Hope you all have a great Saint Patrick’s Day, remember to wear something green!
– Dancing is not something you are born into, you must choose to dance. Selling things is innate, which is why I can’t keep myself from directing your attention to this Sword of Mana Four Panel Comic Book which is an amazing 75% off!
– You’re good Mr. Moti. You’re good. The best I can muster up is this 25% off Seiken Densetsu 3 Basic Guidebook that has all the neat pictures of armor, weapons and items in it.
– Yeah, that’s cool, but you can’t hold a candle to my selling abilities.
In Jewish culture Purim is a holiday which this year will be celebrated tonight and tomorrow. In Secret of Mana Purim is the female protagonist. I’m not sure why she is named after a Jewish holiday, but since that holiday is here I figure we can celebrate Purim in our own Mana way.
Usually the first time you meet Purim in the game it’s because she is saving your life from Goblins. She’s a strong willed character, and fights for what she believes in. She has run away from home because her father is trying to get her to marry someone she doesn’t love, and she chases after her true love Dyluck for the entire game. She goes through many hardships through the course of the game, but remains strong and a valuable ally with tons of supportive magic.
Purim is an interesting character because instead of being a damsel in distress needing rescue she is the one fighting to do the rescuing.
So, here’s to Purim! A great character from a great game!
I’ve always liked this track from Secret of Mana, I dunno why but it always struck me as interesting. It doesn’t have much to it in terms of music, but it has a whole lot of atmosphere. When I heard it the first time I stood outside of the Mana Fortress I knew something big was about to happen, it just gives off that vibe. Steel and Traps – Hiroki Kikuta

And just to be nice, here is something big! Danger- Hiroki Kikuta

Danger is one of my all time favorite boss battle musics. You fight almost every boss in Secret of Mana with this one track playing, and it honestly never gets old. It’s big and imposing, but also hopeful at the same time. Definitely one of the best boss tracks of all time.

Hey, do you like art? If you do then you probably already know about Deviant Art, but did you know there is a club for Seiken Densetsu related art on it?
I do run it, so I figured I’d post it for you guys, incase any of you have an account on DA. It is still active, I REFUSE TO LET IT DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anywho, there’s also a current contest on there if you’d like to join. And, it’s a great place to find other seiken fans on there.
So if you love Seiken Densetsu art or make Seiken Densetsu art, you should head over and join!
– Hey! None of those auctions that were 15 to 30% off got bought last week! And now those deals are over so the prices are jacked back up! If you were thinking about buying one but didn’t jump at it, you just missed out on a good deal!
– I never miss a good deal.
– I never give a good deal.
– Well, if you held out I might have one deal for you. Secret of Mana Advanced Guidebook. This isn’t the cool one with all the drawings, it’s more of a walkthrough, but hey it’s only 99 cents at the moment!
– That’s pretty much it for this week, unless you really want an English Secret of Mana guide, here are four of them! One. Two. Three. Four.
– That’s it for this week, I guess I’m still doing this on Thursdays instead of Fridays…
Well I’ve finally reached my destination for today. Went to my classes at school, and now I’m getting ready to write up three papers that are due at various times this week.
To get ready for writing I open up my music player, shuffle around my musics and hit play.
And Those Who Finally Reached Their Destination – Yoko Shimomura

This is a really cool track from Heroes of Mana, and you can definitely hear some Legend of Mana vibes coming off of it.
Well, I’m off to write some papers, I hope all of you out there finally reach your destination, whatever it may be.
That was super corny right? I can’t believe I typed it. I should be a radio jockey, that’s just too corny.
