In the Seiken Densetsu series Basilisks show very little resemblance to the Basilisks of legend. Instead of being similar to a rooster, the Basilisks in the Seiken Densetsu series are more like spikey green toads which are missing their front arms. Even though they are Reptiles they are closely related to Cockatrices, a monster similar to the Basilisk in Legends, and they can usually summon them to fight. Basilisks always have some form of Petrification ability following the legends created around the monster.
Basilisk
Basilisks are found in Jadd Desert paired with Death Scorpions. They hop around making weird faces and have a chance to petrify you if they hit you.
In SoM Basilisks are classified as Reptiles.
Basilisk
In SoM Basilisks make very few appearances. They can be found in the Underground City and in the Mana Fortress. Rather than attack they spend most of their time laying Eggatrice eggs. Sometimes they will shoot a beam which can petrify you. If they take enough damage they will hop over to you and self destruct.
In SD3 Basilisks are classified as Reptiles.
Basilisk
Basilisks live in the Glass Desert. Rather than using a fire breath attack these green lizards use Petribreath, a breath attack that can petrify up to one character. If other enemies are being killed around them there is a chance they will burp out a full grown Cockatrice. Their fangs can be used to cast Stone Sabre on a weapon.
Fire Drake
These orange cousins of the Basilisks live in the Valley of Flames as well as in the Mirage Palace fire scene. They attack with backflips and by breathing fire at you. Their scales can be used to increase your power, and their fangs can cast Flame Sabre on a character.
In LoM Basilisks are classified as Reptiles.
Basilisk
In LoM enemy Basilisks are pink in color. They are found all throughout the world, but tend to be found in dark or dry places more than other places. They attack with kicks and jumps as well as an eye beam which can petrify you. As a pet their Synchro will add Petrification to your weapons.
